Fair Use & Compassion Policy

Standard Policy: Each active member can borrow up to 2 times per year per item (e.g., 2 scanner loans, 2 electricity meter loans) to ensure all community equipment remains in fair, active circulation.

The Compassion Clause: "We know that life troubles do not run on a schedule, and when one issue strikes, others often cascade. If you have already used your 2 loans for an item this year but are dealing with ongoing repairs or distress, simply check the Compassion Clause box on your request or email us. We are here to help you get through it."
